Not very many people read this, I know. But, to protect my integrity (wink*wink) this is amigos only. Comment to be added and I shall oblige, as long as you don't scare me!

Today has been good...and interesting.

I got some good quality work done at the library. I finished the first cartoon :) And I worked good for three straight hours. Rockin.

Then I met Maddie for a late lunch - at Flat's, my favorite resturant in EL. Fresh limeade - the best out there except for at Fairs. I love limeade. We chatted it up for awhile. It was nice to actually see people!

Then I met with Eric to discuss Big Ten auditions tomorrow and the season in general. It is going to be a very interesting year with so many returning vets. We are trying to figure out a new alternate system and it's not very easy. This year should be pretty good though. I am really excited. We have a really easy schedule compared to last year, and it's going to be sweet with almost everybody from last year (fingers crossed, and Jason will of course be greatly missed).

Now it's off to the movies!!!! YAY! Maddie, Levon and I are going to see Knocked Up. I have heard good things about it so it should be good. I love summer movies and going to the movies in general.

I have been trying to feverishly catch up with Entourage so that I can watch this summer. It doesn't look like it is going to happen, and there is the whole part 2 of season 3 that isn't out on DVD yet, so I wouldn't get to see those episodes anyway. Thankfully Raina has graciously agreed to record the season 4 episodes for me :)

It is so hot out. I wish there was a place that was 70 degrees year round. That would be PERFECT.

Today was another day of randomness. How about we skip all the boring details and get right to the meaty stuff? Good...sounds good to me.

I volunteer at a public library, and in consequence I have to deal with lots of elderly people. Many of them are nice. Cheery actually. And then there is Chatty Kathy and her friend Carol. Is there any polite way to say, please stop talking to me? Because I am running out of excuses.

I rode Yo today - one of the polo ponies that are at my house for the summer. She was so mad at first because she was out by herself, but after she calmed down she was pretty good. It's not as much fun practicing by myself, but at least I can practice with an acutally pony.

Raina has me reading this book - Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow - it's not bad. I am only about halfway through. I am still not exactly sure where it's going, but I have a good enough mind to stick it in there. I am not sure if I am going to do the Harry Potter run after that or wait until I get a little bit closer to the fateful day. I need to go the comics store while I am in East Lansing - I got into a new series (well it isn't new per say, but it's new to me) before I left for Ireland and I need the second volume. Good times.

Would it be completely horrible to go to the movies by myself? I have never done it, always said I would, but I don't know. I really want to see Ocean's Thirteen, but it's hard finding somebody to go with that can work around my crazy schedule. Whatever.

Well, I think I am going to go watch a movie and then go to bed. I actually get to sleep in a little tomorrow :)

Okay, so it's summer and I am in Fenton. Connect the dots. I figure it is probably going to be my last summer in Fenton, so if I can survive it, then I will be a better person for it. It's not that Fenton is all that horrible, it's just that I owe my Dad $900 for my new saddle, and I basically have to do whatever the hell he asks me until August. That, on top of the four other odd jobs that I have and I basically don't have any time to breathe. Raina may not agree with my on this point, but it is the truth. To make my point here is an outline of my day:

7:30 Get up, let the horses out
- shower, eat breakfast, etc.
8:30 Leave for odd job #1
1:30 Arrive back home
- eat something
2:00 Do whatever my Dad has lined up for me for the day
4:00 Odd job #2
Hopefully home by 7:00 so I can ride my horse.
9:30 Eat something.
10:00 Go online/check email/write in this stupid thing/odd job #3
Bed by midnight?

What are my odd jobs you ask?
#1 - Grooming dogs/working at a kennel
#2 - Volunteering at the Fenton Public Library
#3 - Research aide for my professor, researching politically cartoons from the Gilded Age for a Museum Collection

And that isn't consistent. It changes everyday so I can't get into a routine. Which I prefer. I am beginning to think it would have been easier to try and get a 'real' job for the two months I was going to be home. Oh well.

Since the only person who is going to read this is my sister, I would just like to let her know that my enteries will get more interesting after this one. I just had to vent a little bit.

I am going to EL on Thursday to work at the lib on my research and for Big Ten Auditions, so that at least makes the future look bright. And then I remember that it's still only Monday.

And just think, I thought I was going to be ambitious and write another screenplay this summer. Like that will ever happen.

Is it just me or did this semester fly by? It may have had something to do with the fact that we had 7 games in a row. I just cannot comprehend the fact that next week is the final week of regular class. Granted this semester hasn't been particularly interesting, so I won't miss it, but I feel like I was standing on a rug and somebody pulled it out from under me and was like opppss! Sorry did we surprise you?!

In celebration of the Holidays and because we haven't seen each other in forever (or so it seems) I am throwing a Big Tens Holiday party! I AM SUPER EXCITED! I miss everybody so much.... For real. But it should be fun, gift exchange and all!

For some reason, some unexplainable reason I miss my horse a lot more this year. I really want to find a place with an indoor in and around the Lansing area for at least one month next Spring. Sometimes I wonder if my horse misses me as much as I miss her...

Today I applied at Sparty's. I haven't heard back from the library (bitches) and I really want a job for next semester. So hopefully I get hired. I do not want to have to come back from break and apply to a bunch of different places...BORING.

Dantonio?! New coach...new hope. Somehow I don't think I will be around when the Spartans are basking in Championship glory. A bowl game would be nice...any bowl game besides the Motor City Bowl really.

Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE Veronica Mars. I love Veronica Mars.

See the only reason I am updating is because I am bored, and now it is time for me to go do other things, like read a book, to rid myself of boredom. Good times,

Happy Feet beat out Casino Royale for number one movie at the box office this weekend. IT WAS SO GOOD! And there was a preview for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! YAY!

What a good weekend :)

Because my sister tagged me!Collapse )

Anywho, this weekend should be fun. Absolutely NO BAND! Watching the games tomorrow, and then on Sunday my Mom is bringing my kitty up for a visit. Biggi is going to be roaming the APT until Tuesday.

This is the last week of band for the season! I am kind of in shock. If feels like just yesterday we were getting on a bus to go to Pitt. This season flew by - it was a good season, despite all the losses. But I have high hopes for next year, because lets face it, new coach, Raina isn't in the band - we are going to go to an amazing bowl! hehe

Everybody needs to watch Studio 60 tonight at 10 on NBC. I do not care if you just turn your TV onto that channel but don't watch, please do so that it gets better ratings and isn't canceled. It is amazing.

Big election day tomorrow. I voted about a week and a half ago with my nifty absentee ballot. Should be interesting.

Time to work on some math...

Both my football teams suck. How do I survive?

The Prestige = ONE AMAZING MOVIE. You should all go.

Had an amazing weekend hanging out with all my horse friends and riding horses. It was nice to get away and not have a game, but I feel just as tired, if not more tired than if I marched a game. Being out in the freezing cold wind was rough, coupled with staying up late can tire a girl out! But I had tons of fun :)

I love Daylight Savings Time in the fall - it makes me smile!

Birthday in t-minus two days and there is a new Veronica Mars ep! YAY!

Alrighty, I hope you all are cheering for two better football teams than me, because I am a little sad right now without my football.
Totally called Vinatieri making the game winning kick against Denver. I'm good. I know.
